More students are skipping high school, going straight to college

This fall, a record 700 students are expected to pour through Rochester Community and Technical College’s doors — or take online courses — to take advantage of Postsecondary Enrollment Options, an educational route open to 11th- and 12th-grade students and, to a limited extent, 10th-graders.
